About the project

"The iconic Louis Vuitton trunk has been conceptualised as a dynamic 'void' constantly growing, re-constructing in space and time. The iconic chequered pattern is envisioned in a constant state of flux, continually mutating to create a balance between the material and spiritual, solid and void, being and nothingness, permanence and change, past and future. 'The Cave' symbolises the realm of creative silence, mindfulness, concentration, and devotion pays homage to the creative brilliance of Louis Vuitton on the founder's anniversary."
