About the project

This piece was inspired by the old and the new story of Louis Vuitton

At the beginning of last century Mr Vuitton open his store on Champs Elysee and he had a yoyo player.

I was very inspired by this story - as child this was my main game in the country side of France, with a mix of playfulness I was also inspired by the structure of the legendary cases and in more recent years the very architectural work of Virgil Ablo and the novel fabrics used.

I use the medium of human Hair to as it has a great movement and feeling, when you look at a yoyo turning , you look at my piece and you don’t know if it is coming in the wall or in front of the wall I wanted to create the illusion of infinity.
