BRUCE MAU

66/200

Designer, author, educator, and artist Bruce Mau is co-founder and CEO of Massive Change Network, a design consultancy based in Chicago. He was born in Sudbury, Ontario, and began his career as a graphic designer. He quickly shifted his practice to design how things work, rather than they look – a pivot that paved the way for collaboration with the world’s leading brands, organisations, governments, architects, artists, and fellow optimists to create positive change and impact across a broad spectrum of innovative projects. Mau is the author of more than ten books and he wrote the widely shared ‘Incomplete Manifesto for Growth’, a 43-point answer to the question, ‘What does it mean to sustain a creative life?’. His most recent title is ‘Mau: MC24, Bruce Mau’s 24 Principles for Designing Massive Change in Your Life and Work’.

About the project

"Liberated from physicality and unbound by gravity, a luminous, revolving trunk becomes an object of beauty as it reflects the ever-changing light of the surrounding environment and reminds us – travel is transformative, the possibilities unlimited, the experiences random."
